John Spencer Ellis is the Entrepreneurs Coach, a Fitness Expert, and has helped over 500,000 people get jobs. His story of starting with only $20 to his name to being successful today inspires me and I know it will inspire you.

He's the create of NESTA which is a top accredited association that helps people get certified to become Personal Trainers and so much more (he even helped Jillian Michaels get started).

Oh and not to mention we are having him speak at our upcoming event Billion Dollar Body Live.

We go into John's back story and he talks about he got started on the internet when it first came out and why how he capitalized it

In this episode he shares:
  • His best business advice- treat a client so well that they don't leave you OR they refer everyone to you.
  • The importance of being open minded and being humble to learn.
  • The power of being healthy and what it does for his life as a business owner.
  • One quick phrase to get conversations started with influencers
  • How to simplify your life.

He says,

The wisest people always say, "Teach me, show me"

I love this episode with John because he talks about networking and why community is so freaking valuable.

If you're wanting to build a relationship, you must add value to those you value #truth

John states,

The only difference between you and someone successful is they have learned something you have yet to learn.

You are a byproduct of the 5 people you surround yourself with. You need to let people go that are keeping you down.

Always be in a room with people who know different things than you. You should be challenged because if you're the smartest in any group, you're in the wrong group. (unless you're mentoring of course).

He says,

People perceive you differently when you're healthy.

Make sure to listen to this episode and give it a share if you enjoyed it.

Cheers to Looking and Feeling like a Billion Dollars,

Nicholas Bayerle

Get ready for part 2 of this in depth talk with my mentor Joost Janssen. He has accomplished so much in his life and he says it wasn't talent what got him success, it was hard work.

Some of the most talented people in life don't accomplish much because they simply don't have the commitment and the willingness to endure pain. This is something he learned first hand from the men who came through training to become a Navy Seal.

Joost even talks about how he almost quit his goal of becoming a Navy Seal. He endured a serious injury throughout his training and didn't let it stop him.

Your drive and commitment to the goal must be more important than the struggles or pain you experience- Joost Janssen

Here are few of the topics we discuss in this episode:

  • How to live your life and actually enjoy it
  • Why quitting should be the last thing you ever do
  • The fears that keep you from your full potential
  • How to receive feedback and the reason you should LOVE critique and conflict
  • And why you should never ever lie to yourself (and if you have, how to break the habit)
If you verbalize a goal you have and then don’t do it, you just lied to yourself.- Joost Janssen

What I love about Joost is the weird concepts we talk about, like how being selfish is the best thing you could be. We define what selfishness really is and how it can actually be your ultimate motivation.

If you want to learn some crazy communications skills then you will love this episode. We talk about the 1st thing you must do in communication. He shares what he's learned from teaching famous actors and being on set of multiple films like Iron Man, Transformers, The Mummy and many others.

This episode is a long one but it's perfect for a drive or a longer workout. It's inspiring, motivating, and truly changes your outlook on many things in your life. Needless to say, it's packed with a LOT of high level ideas you can implement right away.

In this episode I talk about the mastermind I joined 2 years ago and why I keep investing in it. Is it worth the money? Is it worth the time??

Community is something that makes all the money worth it. When I was reflecting on the 48th floor at my suite at the Trump Hotel in Vegas, I realized that it would be extremely lonely to enjoy it all by myself. Community makes life fun. Community makes hard work worth it.

I desire to help men everywhere find community.

So we are starting something new with our podcast..

We are going to bring on a few high level guests and do an in depth, 2 part podcast. Think Tim Ferris but broken down into 2 episodes.

This and next weeks is going to feature my mentor, Joost Janssen.

Paramedic, Navy Seal, Entrepreneur, Actor, Husband, and Father are just a few of the titles he has carried/carries. In Part 1 we talk about his upbringing and the most catastrophic event he went through. Joost and I get into how to overcome problems, trauma, regrets, and the hard things of life.

He explains the process of becoming a Seal, becoming a decision maker, and becoming a leader in his field.

He says you have to have a strong enough reason, a why to get you to overcome any fear. The only reason people fail to become a Seal is their mindset, a fear they just can't overcome.

Joost has done some crazy things in his life and the lessons he has learned from them can be applied to almost every are of your life.

In Part 1 of the podcast you will hear:

  • The power of mentors and the financial lessons he learned from him
  • The movie that changed the course of his life
  • Why he turned down his full ride scholarship to pursue living in the moment and following his dreams
  • Why talent doesn't matter and how you can truly do anything you put your mind to
  • And so much more

Kevin Stimpson comes on the podcast today, who has been a great friend and is the reason why The Billion Dollar Body exists. He's an Entrepreneur, Owner of Strive N Grind Branding Agency, and the millennial influencer .

The reason he is extremely successful at 28 is because..

He realized how short life really was, by the time he was 23 years old he new 32 people who had died. That gave him motivation to finally take action and pursue greatness.

Kevin shares important lessons around branding and what you can do to become memorable, disruptive, and bad ass such as:

How the way you dress is a representation of who you are, how you gain good attention without saying a word, and gain instant trust and respect from the right people.

"Branding is all about controlling what people think about you and your brand."

Since being connected with The Billion Dollar Body, Kevin has taken his health to a whole new level. But before that, his confidence was low due to neglecting his health. Yes, growing a business can take a negative toll on your health but it doesn't have to.

Kevin goes in depth on what getting healthy has done for his success and confidence.

"How you look is a direct reflection of what lifestyle you live."

Want to get connected with Kevin even more?

Check out his website here and attend Billion Dollar Body Live, which he is speaking more on the topic of mens fashion.
