Today, Nicholas interviews Tim Francis, who is an award-winning entrepreneur from Canada, and the founder of Profit Factory and Great Assistant. Tim is a graduate of the University of Alberta, and a Certified Scrum Product Owner. In 2010, Tim was blindsided by a rare illness called Erythema Nodosum, leaving him crippled for three months. After nearly going bankrupt, Tim decided that he was never going to a burned-out entrepreneur again, which lead to the creation of his successful businesses.

  • Dramatically expand the amount of potential assistants that you’re looking at.
  • Don’t hire the first person you meet.
  • Show your assistant how you want things done instead of telling them what to do. Show them examples.
  • Three major pitfalls that entrepreneurs often fall into when hiring and working with virtual assistants are: Hiring the wrong assistant, poor or non-existent on-board training, and poor or non-existent delegation

We are engaged from the moment he speaks, as he takes us through his journey of starting from the bottom, to staying up at all hours of the night to hustle for a paycheck, to being held at gunpoint, to meeting the girl of his dreams, to having an epiphany the night before starting his new job in order to pursue his life as a successful entrepreneur.

Get Pennywise out of your mind and hustle. You can achieve anything you set your mind to if you want it bad enough.
  • Surround yourself with people who believe in you and will empower you to keep going. Find someone who will stick by your side through thick and thin. Negative surroundings will only produce negative results, which in turn will hinder your ability to thrive and succeed.

Today Nicholas shares with us a guest that he was so pumped to have on the show. When it comes to people pleasing, when it comes to confidence, when it comes to getting your point across, and today's guest been a master at all of these different things, he actually has a company that helps you grow and scale your business, own an asset that works for you, enjoy freedom, income, and the peace of mind. James Friel is so spontaneous and has done crazy things. He consulted the second largest company in the world, made seven figures his first 12 months after leaving his corporate job has so many more ridiculous stories.

Timestamped Show Notes:

  • [ 03:41 ] Spontaneity
  • [ 08:56 ] Closing The Deal
  • [ 11:14 ] Opportunity After Preparation
  • [ 14:20 ] Priorities and Flexibility
  • [ 15:22 ] Doubt
  • [ 21:48 ] Staying True
  • [ 26:59 ] Playing the Long Game
  • [ 31:17 ] People Pleasing
  • [ 36:07 ] Success in Saying No

Takeaways:

  • There is no sure thing in anything that you're doing right, you can dramatically improve the odds of success by just showing up and rolling with it. Louis Pasteur, the famous biologist said that luck is when preparation meets opportunity. We create our own luck, but we create through preparation. We have to keep preparing ourselves and when the opportunities show up, those two things combined, opportunity and preparation meet.  Yeah, you could argue that someone is lucky, but if you haven't been preparing and if you don’t know what you want, where you need to be to get it, and what it will take...if you don’t prepare for success you will miss the opportunity. The opportunity is always there for the taking and that's why it appears to be lucky.
  • You've got to go all in and you can't second guess. Too often people limit their progress because they doubt what they're doing and doubt really doesn't serve us in any capacity. Think through what the risks are and acknowledge what you have to be careful about, weigh the options and discover what's really important. Be intelligent about the moves that you're gonna make. But when you're in the process of making those moves and you're doubting your ability to create something, the only thing that that doubt is doing is slowing you down from actually creating the thing that you want.

Welcome back to the Power Couple Episodes! This week Nicholas and Amanda are talking all about communicating through conflict, emotions, and how to stop people pleasing. Amanda shares that perfection is an opinion, not a definition and Nicholas brought vision into question and how couples can share that with each other.

Timestamped Show Notes:

  • [ 02:07 ] Managing Your Partner
  • [ 05:25 ] No More Nice Girl
  • [ 08:27 ] How Men can Honor Women
  • [ 10:48 ] Body Image
  • [ 12:42 ] Perfection is an Opinion
  • [ 13:57 ] Queens
  • [ 15:27 ] Communicating the Vision
  • [ 18:20 ] Growing Together

Takeaways:

  • We've all gone through this of wanting to manage someone else's expectations and make sure they are good. A lot of people think that the best way to have the best relationship is happy wife, happy life. Sure. But there is this analogy of a man and his wife that every single morning they would go on a run together. At the very beginning of running, he was the one that wanted to go run and she was the one that was along for the ride. After a while, he was sick and tired of running, but his wife was so excited every morning to go do it that he was like, well, I guess I'll just go run with her. So he acted like he was excited and then one day they get together and finally one of them blows up and says, I hate running. And the other person's like, what do you mean you love running? It's like, no, you love running. That's why I've been doing this whole time and at the end of the day, all they were trying to do was trying to manage each other's expectations and trying to make sure that the other person was happening in the other person is trying to make sure the other person was happy and then they both were doing an activity that they didn't want to do to make each other happy, which means deep down they both weren't really that happy rather than actually like managing and governing themselves and then giving out of an overflow without having to get connected to the outcome of the other person's like world or expectation.
  • When you are in the stages of overcoming people pleasing or a “Nice” syndrome there are three crucial steps. Number one, know that you are loved, because when you know that you're loved already, and truly believe God has unconditional love for you and realizing that he made you just the way that you are. This will really free you from people pleasing you because it will take the power away from any rejection or hate you receive. The second is treating yourself like a queen. The last one is honoring yourself, respecting yourself and knowing your worth. Don’t be afraid to share how you really feel, don’t be passive when you really aren’t okay with something.
  • A common thing that theme that we see over and over again in relationships is couple’s who aren’t on the same page with their vision simply because they aren’t communicating. Every once in a while it is good to have an outside perspective like another power couple in your community, or podcasts because it’s an opportunity to have an outside perspective on your relationship and grow together. People die inside if they don't have a vision. So make it a point to communicate with each other. It doesn't have to be good, it doesn't have to be pretty by having some communication around what do you want and really have them write down like what things do they want, what do they want out of life, what do they want on to things, what do they want to grow in, you know, that's something that they want to do and then support them in that and you do the same thing. And I think that's such a huge basis of connection is communication. Choose every single day to grow together and it's a choice and it's a decision that you both have to make in your relationship.

Danny shares with us today an inside look at his journey within his companies that do over $40,000,000 through several of those companies. How he’s become a dad, a husband, and pulled off events that are absolutely phenomenal.

  • [ 23:09 ] Breakthrough
  • [ 25:04 ] Building Great Relationships
  • [ 29:15 ] Education
  • [ 31:17 ] Future Events

Takeaways:

  • We are living in the day and age where everybody is looking to better their life, whether that be financially or whether that be through fitness because of the exposure that we've been giving on social media. We, as influencers, are exposing what's possible. People looking at their own lives are saying, hang on a second, you know, I'm not accomplishing everything that this guy or this gal is accomplishing, so, so how do I do that? People have to be careful that they're following and listening to people who have actually accomplished great things and whose trees do bear fruit. Stop producing all content until you can actually go prove in your own life that your content is actually worthy of being followed. Everybody wants to produce motivational quotes, everybody wants to be an inspiration, but you can't fake it. People can genuinely tell, they can sense if you're the real deal or not. Go out and kick butt in the business world or go out and kick butt in the fitness world or go out and kick butt and whatever world you're trying to put a dent in. And then come back and say, hey guys, hey guys, my name is Danny Morel. Look what I did. And being that I did it, I can show you how to do it too. Results are your judge, jury, and conviction.
  • There are two formulas, one that unsuccessful people follow and one that successful people follow. Unsuccessful people’s formula starts with DO. They ask themselves, “What do I have to do in order to have what I want to have so that I can be happy?” DO HAVE BE. What starts to happen is anytime that you start off with DO, you're going to base what you can do or what you think you can do based off of the things that you're doing now and the things that you've done before. Half the battle is not understanding that the successful people live life through a complete perspective. They start with BE. “Who do I have to BE? Who do I envision myself BEING? What is my real ultimate purpose? What's the value that I'm going to bring to this world?” They then DO as a result of that BECOMING who they needed to BE to create different results.

Welcome back to another Power Couple Episode! We are so glad to have you! This week Nicholas and Amanda talk about the real raw aspects of being a power couple who works together. They share with us the things they are personally encountering in their own lives, the power of sharing, and the people you surround yourself with.

Timestamped Show Notes:

  • [ 02:26 ] The Power of Sharing
  • [ 05:03 ] Conflict
  • [ 07:58 ] Epiphany
  • [ 11:40 ] People Pleasers
  • [ 15:04 ] Gratefulness
  • [ 16:14 ] Consistency Under Pressure
  • [ 17:49 ]  Your Number One Team Member

Takeaways:

  • Many people have a tendency to put on a show, charading that everything is perfect. But being open and talking about issues with people you trust is so a key to a happy healthy relationship. Many people struggle with the same or similar things as you. Extra outside hep can resolve problems for you that would otherwise destroy your relationships. Bringing up conflict is not always easy when you are alone but finding an outlet to talk freely and bounce your ideas off of with help you and potentially save your relationship.
  • People pleasing will hold you back. It’s okay to have boundaries, it’s okay to say no, it’s okay to be disliked. When you are decided on what you believe you will sleep well at night. Don’t hold yourself back with guilt, you can’t control people and how they feel about any specific thing.
  • Your partner is your number one team member that you have. You want to make sure that relationship is so strong because if it is so much of life’s challenges and the things that you face will be so much easier when you both are on the same page and going after it together. The best mastermind is between husband and wife.

Today Nicholas shares his interview with Russell Brunson, ClickFunnels founder and host of Funnel Hacking Live. They talk about the opportunities that come with being a high-level influencer, how to be faith focused without judgment, and what responsibilities drove them both to their passions. Russell shares personal stories and experiences he’s had throughout his entrepreneurial journey, from family life, faith, to failing business and his health.

Timestamped Show Notes:

  • [ 02:41 ] Social Media Influencing
  • [ 06:44 ] Faith in Business
  • [ 11:38 ] Balancing Mixed Views
  • [ 14:54 ] Passion in the Hard Times
  • [ 19:38 ] Responsibilities

  • [ 35:30 ] Belief
  • [ 38:29 ] Health Impacts all Areas
  • [ 41:13 ] Failing
  • [ 46:10 ] Funnel Hacking Live

Takeaways:

  • “I'm not going to judge anyone else because I struggle with so many things in life.” Everyone's got their own thing and like all we need to care about in the faith side of businesses is how we can actually change people's lives. That is what business is all about that. It's not about making money. Most entrepreneurs when they start that's their motivation. However they don't last long, it's hard to stay in business because the motivation for money goes away really quick. It's the people who start serving other people, seeing some success and then seeing lives changed. You have to shift your focus to that service mentality. That's what faith is, it’s serving and helping other people. It doesn’t matter what sins any of us have, we all have issues. But when you know that your mission here is to change other people's lives, that's when entrepreneurs are able to have an effect.
  • The biggest component to success is belief. Sometimes we may not know what our ideas or visions will look like but when you have a belief you know that no matter what those dreams will come to fruition and you will see success. When you have a belief you are able to inspire people to join you in that dream even when everyone around them is telling them to take a step back. I think that's the biggest thing is actually believing. I think when people get stuck is because they're, I think this will work and that that's why you, that's why you don't quite go all the way. It's where you don't quite finished the shot or do the thing or whatever it is because like I think, I think it'll work. You get to like absolute belief in the certainty that's going to work and then you do that. You just smashed through the thing. And so, um, that's, that's the biggest is just believe in like again, if I can give everyone, like, just believe this has worked, believe it's true believer you can, whatever it is. Like as soon as you believe it, everything becomes really, really easy.
  • David Mckay said that no success can compensate for failure in the home. And so for me, I look at that. That's the root foundation of success is what your home looks like. So how do you treat your wife, how you treat your kids, how like what does that relationship looks like because you have success in the world's view, but if your home is destroyed then you know, what was the, what was the point of it? I'm looking at people who have amazing families who were married, who have good relations with their spouse or their kids, things like that because that's success for me.

Takeaways:

  • Why waste your time with all these different women who aren't your type or don't have the same values as you and you just could never see them. Be serious because there's some girls that like, they're not marriage material and there's some guys that are like that too. They don't want to get married, they're young, they just don't have very good morals or values in life right now. When you're with a bunch of girls that you don't really care about just for fun, and the right girl comes around, that girl's going to be probably turned off by you in five different relationships at one time. They're probably not going to want that in a man. Start with the end in mind. You got to figure out exactly what type of life you want. Treats the initial “what do I want in a woman” as if you were hiring someone. When you have a job description you have to make it so clear because the person that you want, like it's a specific type of person and if you want to hire a good person, like you can't just take anyone for a certain role, like it needs to be specific skillsets, specific type of person that can fulfill that job. In a relationship, you need to make that specific detailed person that you think you'd want to be with. And when you see all these other girls that are like not living up to that don't even waste your time.
  • I guess I'll keep doing it and then a few years later, guess what happens? All of a sudden, both of you guys have been doing something that you absolutely hate because you think the other person likes it, but both of you guys have been faking it. So both of you guys have been doing something that you hate year after year. Trying to make someone else happy, only to make no one happy the whole time. That's the saddest story I've ever heard and so when I look at stuff like this, the biggest things that come down to communication and understanding so many times as humans, we go out with just a bit of information. We ponder on it, we dwell on and we come back with a solution.
  • There's a difference between morals and ethics in your foundation. Opposites attract, but when it comes to your moral foundation, the things you believe, what you guys want to do in life, how many kids you want to have with someone. You want your intimacy in your commitment in relationship to travel at the same speed. A lot of people have intimacy, travel way quicker, meaning that they go and have sex and do all these things with people before they're ever committed. Creates tons of emotions that are super negative, meaning like you have to work through them so they're not negative, but they drag people down when they don't need to like explore, get to know each other. Are they foundationally? Do you guys have a future that would align together? Are you interested in the same things, meaning getting out of life? Do you have a moral and ethical foundation that's similar?

In today’s episode Nicholas sits down with Peng Joon and there are so many epic takeaways. Peng and Nicholas talk about focusing on your strengths while shying away from You're Weaknesses, Peng shares how he has produced tens of millions of dollars without hopping on any sales calls. He has spoken on many stages with thought leaders like Tony Robbins, Richard Branson and so many more!

  • [ 22:34 ] Building with Focus
  • [ 28:10 ] Bombing for Success
  • [ 33:57 ] Results are What You Make
  • [ 41:14 ] Scaling

Takeaways:

  • Go into a market that actually matters to you. went to a market that actually made, that made me excited every single day. And I think that many times when people start an online business, they go into a market where they think it's a great market because it makes them money. Then take a look at every single market, no matter how crazy you think that market is. Understand that right now in today's world there is somebody that's crushing it, making millions of dollars from it. No matter how weird you think that market is or even if it was a serious market like real estate or investing a four x, the truth is there is somebody in the market that has it figured out, figured out in terms of what the funnels look like in terms of the price point in front, in terms of the offer, in terms of the traffic, where to buy traffic from, how the ads look like, and now it's just about starting off and using that as a benchmark. Lots of copy, but to model what works so that you can separate and differentiate yourself from that offer. That's making millions of dollars online and that would be the next.
  • Practice. I think we’ve got to understand that most people who look at someone who has mastered a certain skill look at them as Person who has mastered it because of genetics or this person was born with this gift, this talent. Most people only look at a result and say, ah. But the truth is in entrepreneurship, every single skill set, including speaking is a learnable, trainable skill. All you have to ask yourself is, “are we willing to be bad at something in order to be good at something?” The truth is, if you accept that struggles and failures are just part of the success equation, then that's how you can get past that initial hurdle of being bad at something. If you want to sell them stages, understand that right now all it takes is practice.
  • What's our end goal? Once you know that you will see that it means underneath that umbrella it would be things like wanting facebook ads, social media, speaking, closing, running live events. All that we're putting out there today is based upon that belief. We aren’t going to spend our time and focus bullying up things even if it could potentially generate an additional six figures because I know for sure the one thing that is costing my business is focused, is losing focus. There are many times when I thought like this would be a great way to make more money. When a person is starting out and you've got bills to pay, it could be very enticing too, you know, want to do that thing that makes you a couple thousand dollars million, pay off the bills. Know that long-term that is not sustainable because as long as we're focused on tactics and not a strategy, it's going to be really tough to scale and evolve because tactics and platforms will always change over time.

Today Nicholas sits down for an in-depth solo episode talking with us about the top two investments we should make as men, your community, and the ultimate break down of your progression as a man from survival to significance.

Timestamped Show Notes:

  • [ 02:39 ] Investments
  • [ 05:24 ] Community
  • [ 06:08 ] Giving Money Away
  • [ 07:12 ] Stuck in Stability
  • [ 08:10 ] Fear of Failure
  • [ 10:05 ] Survival to Success
  • [ 15:30 ] The Ultimate Goal
  • [ 17:00 ] Stepping Stones
  • [ 18:45 ] Ten Things
  • [ 20:44 ] Mission and Vision

Takeaways:

  • The top two things that you can invest your finances and to see the biggest growth. The number one investment you can make is in yourself. Number one. Number two is in your own business first. Most people think they're going to make money and go invest in a stock or going to go invest in someone else's business or to invest in something. The number one thing that you can invest in as yourself first your education because no one can take it away from you and the second thing is going out and reinvesting into your own business to see that growth that you want to have.
  • There's plenty of people out there that are broken up, terrible relationships. There's plenty of people out there that have great relationships that never figure out how to build wealth or how to take care of themselves. There's plenty of people that have two out of three, but having three out of three is just a phenomenal thing that we call three-dimensional businessman in a proprietary way to make that happen. And so knowing that focusing on your business gives you more ability to go out there and execute on your health, that gives you more ability to go out there and invest in your relationships. It gives you more freedom and there are different things in each one of these things. Impact.
  • There are the four stages of life, survival, stability, success, and significance. And I always tell the guys what? What category are you in right now? Are you in survival mode where you're just like hammering away like you need to make something happen. Don't have a goal to go from survival mode to significance right away. So many guys out there like, oh my goodness, I would just love to help people. I would love to give money away. I would love to buy people's stuff and that's something that you definitely want to have inside of your mind, but it's not the first step to focus on. You can't just decide to go from homeless to philanthropists. It does not happen that way. You have not done the steps. You have not done the things to earn the title of philanthropist. You can't just go from never playing basketball to becoming a professional basketball player. That's not what you do. That's not the place that you go. You can't go from being a nobody to an influencer. It just does not happen that way. So figure out what are you. When are you in survival mode and you need to get to stability.

Welcome back to the Power Couple Episodes! This week Nicholas and Amanda talk all about the components of teamwork, from real and honest communication, problem-solving together, to what a woman is like when she is hurt. Amanda offers great insight into tone and body language when communicating to one another in emotionally charged situations and Nicholas talks about the most productive dates you can go on together while still having some of the best times of your life with your partner.

  • [ 07:00 ] Problem Solving Together

  • [ 09:16 ] A Woman Who is Hurt
  • [ 10:30 ] Tone
  • [ 11:45 ] Teamwork
  • [ 13:34 ] Dates

Takeaways:

  • for a lot of the guys out there, there's usually this separation of what needs to happen in business and what's going on in the relationship. A lot of it comes down to understanding. We always talk about the communication and the purpose of communication isn't for someone to be right or wrong, but to better understand each other, and the more you can understand each other, the more you can fall in love with each other. So when it comes to business, I've noticed that some of the guys out there building their business. Their wife absolutely hates it and they don't understand what their spouse is doing whatsoever. All of it comes down to understanding why are you doing what you're doing. As a partner, we should want to better understand that so we can provide better support.
  • Many people create a world in their own head and don't actually have facts or real data behind their thoughts. So they continue to be stuck in their beliefs all the time and then if they ever do blow up on the person and the person goes, oh my bad, I didn't even mean that. So it just means that for the last one week, two weeks, two months, two years, 20 years, that person was thinking of something that wasn't real. It wasn't real. They created the reality in their head. The biggest thing you can do is nip it in the bud as fast as possible. Do the correct things to get over it as quickly as possible and communicate to have an understanding. So at least the things that are being thought about are in fact reality.

Today Nicholas sits down with Dan Lok, a high ticket sales expert. They discuss Dan’s unique background and how he’s demolished limiting beliefs to build his success. Dan shares how to close high ticket sales and the difference between closure and salesmen, the types of demand and the formula to close a buyer. Dan breaks down the three level of high ticket closing, the mindset of congratulations, mentorship that changed Dan’s life, and what it truly takes to be a 3-dimensional businessman.

Timestamped Show Notes:

  • [ 05:10 ] Writing Copy
  • [ 10:28 ] Types of Demand
  • [ 11:55 ] Sales vs. Closing
  • [ 15:30 ] Financial Commitment
  • [ 17:50 ] Three Levels of High Ticket Closing
  • [ 25:31 ] Lead Flow
  • [ 30:40 ] Shift Perspectives
  • [ 35:30 ] Mentorship
  • [ 40:05 ] 3 Dimensional Businessman

Takeaways:

  • When faced with blatant opposition you can reflect on the way you communicate your values. You could choose to blame but at the end of the day, nobody cares who you are blaming what on and why, the blame does not yield results nor does it accomplish anything. What does accomplish more than anything is working on yourself, refining your communication, it doesn’t matter how good you are or how good your product is, how good your service is or how nice you are...if you do not know how to close a sale you will never be successful in high ticket sales.
  • Existing Demand: Existing demand is when you have a client looking for a specific product to fulfill a want need or desire. Clients with an existing demand go, look, and buy. The second type of demand is created demand. When it comes to created demand your marketing needs to be different, you need to education, inspirer, and create desire. Once you’ve created the desire you can present the solution. “Hey this may be something you never thought of before but this could actually solve the problem you have.” This formula makes sense to the buyer. There is a big difference between sales and closing, a lot of people sell very few people close. You don’t make money selling you make money closing.

Welcome back to another episode of the Power Couple Podcast! This week Nicholas and Amanda discuss the difference between men and women, covering everything from communication, to the ways the two genders process information and situations, to some great resources to help you and your partner grow closer.

Timestamped:

  • [ 01:30 ] Nonnegotiable
  • [ 05:00 ] Do It Anyway
  • [ 09:53 ] Learning Curve
  • [ 10:37 ] Communication
  • [ 13:47 ] Men and Women
  • [ 19:27 ] The Little Things

Takeaways:

  • It’s interesting how when you are doing something that you want do really well at, it can increase pressure in your life. As we know pressure can expose weakness, it doesn’t create it. It’s like a pipe, the pressure will make a pipe burst at its weakest point. You’ve probably been there in your relationship, where you’ve been excited about something and then you get turned off to it. One of the biggest things is that when you think that you don’t want to do something your physiology and mental state changes. But if you know what you’re committed to you have the ability to push through. It’s interesting that the biggest pressures can sometimes lead to you're biggest breakthroughs.
  • The more we learn the more accountable we become to our knowledge. SO once you learn something it’s hard to go back on it because you know you should be taking action on it. Continue to learn with a childlike open-mindedness, some of the biggest things that will shift your perspective will be things that give you a deeper understanding. Like your personality style tests or once you understand that men love through solving problems, and women solve problems by talking them out. Men when going through a hard time tend to go into seclusion and so understanding and having patience through communication is the best foundation to rely on and practice frequently.
  • Take 100% responsibility 100% of the time. Always look for how you change and show up better. Look at it as you growing rather than fixing them. For the men out there, if your woman is complaining about something, tell her to go handle it, tell her to go do whatever she needs to do to feel better about it. Give your woman the permission to take care of herself.

This week Nicholas brings on social media mogul Casey Adams. They talk about everything from new generational trends in social media businesses communicating with brands and influencers through direct messages. Casey shares with us actionable tactics in building a personal brand and offers the three key steps to take to launch your social media business card to the next level.

Timestamped Show Notes:

  • [ 03:57 ] Starting from the Beginning
  • [ 08:05 ] Investment
  • [ 12:10 ] Road Less Traveled
  • [ 16:17 ] Focus on the Now
  • [ 20:25 ] Personal Brand
  • [ 21:53 ] 3 Steps to Build
  • [ 26:02 ] Perception and Popularity
  • [ 34:16 ] Brand Deals
  • [ 37:04 ] Social Communication
  • [ 44:11 ] Building Empires

Takeaways:

  • Personal branding is the most authentic perception that you are building for yourself around your life. As you are building, growing and improving within yourself, so is your perception with your audience and the story you are telling. The true value of a personal brand is that it isn’t about you it’s about the impact you can have on millions of people. Your personal brand is your social media business card.
  • The three foundational steps to take: understanding that you have to put out content on a consistent basis from the start that is congruent with the story you want to tell, many people lack in this area. You also have to use it for your audience, pay attention to the message that you are putting out to other people, have a good why: what is your impact, what are you trying to get across, what story are you telling. Your brand isn’t for you, it’s for your audience. You have to have the correct mindset, know that this is the long game...commit to your brand for the long term, for years to come.
  • When communicating with brands and brokering deals via social media, it’s first and foremost important to understand the value that you bring to the table, whether it’s that you have a large audience, you're connected with people you want to work with long term…No matter what it’s important to always be authentic.

Welcome back to the Billion Dollar Body Podcast! This is episode #10 of the Power Couple Series! Nicholas and Amanda hit it hard this week talking about the power couple dynamic, how to craft a daily declaration, and how to love what you have in your partner.

Timestamped Show Notes:

  • [ 01:59 ] This Weeks Wins
  • [ 03:16 ] Power Couple Dynamic
  • [ 06:32 ] 30 Day Challenge
  • [ 07:53 ] Think and Grow Rich Statement
  • [ 10:37 ] Not Always Greener
  • [ 13:40 ] Water the Grass You Have
  • [ 17:00 ] Focus on the Positive

Takeaways:

  • Everyone can be a power couple. Many people think you have to work together in a business, or when the wife is super dominant. However, all it takes is having a like-minded vision to a similar place or direction you two are headed, using your talents, skills, and abilities to support each other in getting to that place. So together to people going after one vision using their strengths. You often need to make your relationship your higher priority.
  • A Think and Grow Rich Statement is created with the purpose to dial in, a declaration that you say out loud every morning and then a touchstone that you can go back to recenter you throughout the day. This is typically made for the amount of money you want to make in a specific amount of time, but the main purpose is to help you emotionalize and visual your connection to your goals, which is why you can use it for many other benchmarks besides your money goals.
  • Focus on the Positive things that you already have, especially before you get to anything you want to work on because you will only see those thing a negative lense. The world will continue to confirm your belief until you change your belief system or mindset. Find what you love about your partner and let them know. What you focus on increases. You will feel more love when you focus on how amazing your partner is and what you love about them.
