We should also take note of what our beliefs are and how they are affecting us. Nicholas shared a story about a man believing he was dying when he actually wasn’t, however, his belief was so strong that he ended up dying.
  • “Wine doesn’t make you happy, it just makes you happier.” “Whether you think you can or that you can’t you’re right.” Many people give excuses and don’t know they are foreshadowing their own futures, in that they believe they can’t or won’t be able to do something and because of that excuse they will end up following that excuse to become a limiting belief in their lives.

We need to address and deal with high threat environments and traumatic stress, offering high-end treatment and discarding misdiagnosis to deal with the real and underlying issues founded in many mental health ailments. We as people need to know what the right resources are to go to get help and get back into serving in your strengths and purpose.
  • When you are feeling overwhelmed, need to recenter, or are looking to renew your focus you can reset your “dial” through breathing exercises and slowing down your physiological response, mediating, refueling your body with nourishing food.
  • Mindset of a Navy Seal: The first step is to solidify your purpose and being willing to test it and yourself. Every time you test your true purpose you will further solidify and ground yourself in your purpose. Then you have to follow through with action, develop good habits, invest in mentors, and pushing yourself, proving that you always have more in you. Nicholas and Amanda kick off the Power Couple Episode 3 with a whole new format! Talk all about this week's lessons and how they have overcome the rough patches. They share with us their #1 resource for the week and give you the opportunity to join them in maximizing your monthly goals! And they cover questions that came straight from you through facebook!

Time Stamped

  • [ 01:07 ] Weekly Lessons
  • [ 03:12 ] Being Present
  • [ 05:00 ] Abundance
  • [ 07:13 ] Weekly Resource
  • [ 10:00 ] 30 Day Challenge
  • [ 11:23 ] Weekly Quotes
  • [ 13:34 ] What We Love
  • [ 17:25 ] Working Together

Takeaways:

  • Tips to Overcome: Amanda has found that in journaling, being present, and writing everything thought down that she can overcome feeling overwhelmed or anxious. Nicholas found that in living out of an abundance mindset and using his resources he can cut out the noise and focus on the bigger picture rather than the possible mistakes to be made in the minute details, and helped him put his focus back on his mission and vision.
  • Journaling is a great way to write out what you are feeling in the moment and gives you the chance to reflect back on it later and identify where those emotions are coming from and how they are adding to or taking away from your daily life. Setting your focus on being present, rather than so zeroed in on the future, helps you solve problems in the now so that the future is better, it’ll will bring you a lot more peace and give you a grounding point. When you are going throughout your day you can often be bombarded by lots of thoughts, tasks, or ideas that you may lose track of in the hustle of your daily life. When you write your thoughts, ideas, and tasks out it anchors your to do list, provides you with extra fuel for later brainstorming sessions, and helps you articulate your ideas better.
  • The 30 Day Challenge: Craft a challenge that is unique to you, like a 30 day journal challenge, or 30 day no alcohol challenge. When you are looking to take action in any areas of your life, many people often look from the perspective of “will this increase or decrease my status?” Many people don’t follow through with a 30 day challenge because they think it will decrease their status, based on what the majority of their peers are doing, what their environment “puts” on them, or what does or does not make them feel good. The thing about 30 day challenges is that you have nothing to lose if you follow through with it. If you do something for 30 days and don’t end up liking your results you know that it’s something you don’t want to implement permanently in your life. If you do like your results at the end of 30 days you have already put the time in to create a habit and can continue on with greater results over a longer period of time.
  • Weekly Quotes: “God doesn’t Waste Any Season.”: No matter how long your season is, time is so valuable that even God isn’t looking to was any, good or bad, long or short, it’s always an opportunity to grow. Your season isn’t happening to you, it’s happening for you! For you to learn and grow and be a part of your story. // “At 18 years old you care about what everyone is thinking about them. At 40 years old you stop caring about everyone thinks about them. At 60 years old they realize that no one was even focused on them.” Not caring what people think about how you live your life gives you so much opportunity for freedom because no one is as focused on the perception of who you as you are.

This week Nicholas brings on Jairek Robbins, high-performance coach, and they talked about his transformation from a boy into a man, through the opportunities he seized and the hard work he put in. Jairek shares the many lessons he’s learned in traveling the world, having a near death experience and how self-introspection can revitalize your business and relationship with your clients.

Timestamped Show Notes:

  • [ 01:07 ] Understanding the Process of Transformation
  • [ 05:00 ] When Opportunity Strikes
  • [ 10:58 ] Gaining Perspective
  • [ 17:45 ] Growing Your Business
  • [ 20:00 ] Abroad in the World
  • [ 30:41 ] Living Each Day Fully

Takeaways:

  • There is a missing element in society to challenge a young person to allow them to transform from a child into an adult. Take time to realize when there is an opportunity in front of you when that opportunity can bring you a large amount of return by delivering solid value to your clients. You never know when opportunities will be up, fall in love with hard work and the process of it. Be willing to redevelop yourself through proof and challenges. When you have explored your opportunities you will arrive at a point of looking at life and wondering what if worth investing my time in.
  • When you look at generational conditioning you will find that you don’t have to create a time in history to toughen a generation up, time will do that on its own, the real question is how do you prepare the next generation. When there is a misuse of power is often taken away but that is not always a good thing because that may be removing the component that helps the next generation toughen up. How do we reignite a natural toughness in humanity? Optimize and maximize your own situation. Be hungry.
  • In growing your business: how many people know you exist, how many of those people have you gather contact information from, how many of those people have you turned into customers, what price point did they buy at, how often did they buy. If you take those five numbers and take time to work and rework those numbers to get them to go up you will see your business grow.
  • How to live a high-performance life: Make sleep, nutrition and exercise your priority, discover how to enjoy what you are doing, have the ability to stay laser-focused on the task at hand while being aware of the chaos around you.

Today Nicholas and Amanda Bayerle jump into episode #2 of the Power Couple episodes talking about romance! They discuss this week's struggles, having a like-minded vision, and how to be in love and stay in love.

Time Stamped Show Notes:

  • [ 03:33 ] Create and Agree on a Clear Vision
  • [ 11:54 ] Like Minded Environment
  • [ 13:51 ] Keeping Romance Alive
  • [ 22:35 ] Priorities

Takeaways:

  • Get clear on your vision with your partner early on in your relationship. Here where your partner wants to go and know what you want for yourself before you dive into a relationship. Both people may not be fully committed to each other’s vision until there is a big measure of commitment, like engagement or marriage. Make communication your priority so that you both know what each other wants. Write out the list of what you want and refer to that when you are looking for the person who will align with your vision.
  • In keeping the romance alive one of the best things to do is to picture your spouse intimately every day, visualization is a huge component in your relationship to keep the passion alive. Also, make sure you know and are fulfilling your spouse's love languages. You can make any moment non-romantic but you can also turn it around to the opposite. ROmance isn’t one-sided, be the person who is ready and available to your partner, govern yourself and then pour into your partner, don’t try to fix your partner.

Today Nicholas talks with Alex Charfen about businessmen and living a life that’s worth modeling. Alex covers everything from finding your tribe and why as an entrepreneur, influencer, and thought leader, you are set apart, who you are and what makes you tick, the two types of momentum, how to maintain momentum, and how the process will set you free.

Time Stamped Show Notes:

  • [ 01:32 ] Who is Alex Charfen
  • [ 05:34 ] Your Tribe
  • [ 08:09 ] Qualify Yourself
  • [ 17:03 ] Nonnegotiable for a Hunter
  • [ 25:03 ] Momentum
  • [ 30:11 ] Success and Learning
  • [ 36:21 ] Value over Pressure and Noise
  • [ 40:00 ] Lightning Round
  • [ 45:37 ] Process will Set You Free

Takeaways:

  • If you have ever felt different or alone, or like you just can’t overcome the present, the fact is that if you think right now, back in history, everyone who has mattered and is remembered, everyone who you remember and look up to was just like you. Rather than feeling and believing that you are alone, understand that you are part of the most important club in history.
  • There are four types of people in the world, the first is the caretakers, the second is the communicator, the third second is the coordinator, the fourth is the hunter.
  • Momentum is the life force for a hunter type of person, there are two ways to create momentum, either add things or take things away. Take inventory of the people, the things in your life and be ruthless, cut everything that isn’t giving you momentum. Momentum isn’t aa condition you want to be in, it’s what makes you who you are, and that needs to be defended at all costs. Show up like you are a professional athlete. There is no way that pressure and noise with help you reach your ultimate success or even contribute to you learning.

The Billion Dollar Body is excited to announce that you will now get the honor of hearing from BDB First Lady, Nicholas Bayerle’s wife, Amanda Bayerle, every Friday on The Billion Dollar Body Podcast.

Today Nicholas and Amanda are kicking things off talking about authenticity and happiness within a relationship. Plus Amanda talks about open relationships and how they built a business together.

Shoot us your questions, topics you’d like to discuss, and areas you’d like us to address in the Billion Dollar Body Brotherhood Facebook Group.

Time Stamped Notes:

  • [ 01:52 ] Get to Know Us
  • [ 04:48 ] The Why Behind The Show
  • [ 06:19 ] Happy and Broke to Happy and Successful
  • [ 09:02 ] Progress Equals Happiness
  • [ 12:05 ] Open Relationships
  • [ 14:02 ] What Are the Results
  • [ 17:27 ] Where is Your Focus in Your Life
  • [ 20:00 ] Who You Surround Yourself with

Takeaways:

  • “We started our relationship in a place where we were not financially stable.” Nicholas and Amanda were able to be happy together as a married couple without all the other “things”. Now that they are successful and have more opportunities they have found that their happiness levels have stayed even, they’ve always been happy and had fun in their relationship through both the good times and bad. When you have an awesome stable relationship you will want to conquer things together. Your circumstances shouldn’t dictate your relationship, you should want to be with your partner even when they don’t have all their ducks in a row. Money can make you happy but it shouldn’t be your foundation. Your happiness in your relationship shouldn’t be judged by external influences because if it was anything could break you up and tear you apart.
  • If one area of your life isn’t performing well, it will affect the other areas. When you are sick you can become more irritable in your work and relationship, if your business isn’t going right you'll lash it out on your relationship, if your relationship isn’t going well you're more likely to emotionally eat and neglect your health. How you do one thing is how you do anything.
