In today’s episode Nicholas sits down with Peng Joon and there are so many epic takeaways. Peng and Nicholas talk about focusing on your strengths while shying away from You're Weaknesses, Peng shares how he has produced tens of millions of dollars without hopping on any sales calls. He has spoken on many stages with thought leaders like Tony Robbins, Richard Branson and so many more!

Timestamped:

  • [ 01:21 ] Living Out of a Suitcase
  • [ 02:21 ] Tony Sanders, a Pen Name
  • [ 10:18 ] Mastering Your Market
  • [ 16:26 ] The Equation for Success
  • [ 22:34 ] Building with Focus
  • [ 28:10 ] Bombing for Success
  • [ 33:57 ] Results are What You Make
  • [ 41:14 ] Scaling

Takeaways:

  • Go into a market that actually matters to you. went to a market that actually made, that made me excited every single day. And I think that many times when people start an online business, they go into a market where they think it's a great market because it makes them money. Then take a look at every single market, no matter how crazy you think that market is. Understand that right now in today's world there is somebody that's crushing it, making millions of dollars from it. No matter how weird you think that market is or even if it was a serious market like real estate or investing a four x, the truth is there is somebody in the market that has it figured out, figured out in terms of what the funnels look like in terms of the price point in front, in terms of the offer, in terms of the traffic, where to buy traffic from, how the ads look like, and now it's just about starting off and using that as a benchmark. Lots of copy, but to model what works so that you can separate and differentiate yourself from that offer. That's making millions of dollars online and that would be the next.
  • Practice. I think we’ve got to understand that most people who look at someone who has mastered a certain skill look at them as Person who has mastered it because of genetics or this person was born with this gift, this talent. Most people only look at a result and say, ah. But the truth is in entrepreneurship, every single skill set, including speaking is a learnable, trainable skill. All you have to ask yourself is, “are we willing to be bad at something in order to be good at something?” The truth is, if you accept that struggles and failures are just part of the success equation, then that's how you can get past that initial hurdle of being bad at something. If you want to sell them stages, understand that right now all it takes is practice.
  • What's our end goal? Once you know that you will see that it means underneath that umbrella it would be things like wanting facebook ads, social media, speaking, closing, running live events. All that we're putting out there today is based upon that belief. We aren’t going to spend our time and focus bullying up things even if it could potentially generate an additional six figures because I know for sure the one thing that is costing my business is focused, is losing focus. There are many times when I thought like this would be a great way to make more money. When a person is starting out and you've got bills to pay, it could be very enticing too, you know, want to do that thing that makes you a couple thousand dollars million, pay off the bills. Know that long-term that is not sustainable because as long as we're focused on tactics and not a strategy, it's going to be really tough to scale and evolve because tactics and platforms will always change over time.

Today Nicholas sits down for an in-depth solo episode talking with us about the top two investments we should make as men, your community, and the ultimate break down of your progression as a man from survival to significance.

Timestamped Show Notes:

  • [ 02:39 ] Investments
  • [ 05:24 ] Community
  • [ 06:08 ] Giving Money Away
  • [ 07:12 ] Stuck in Stability
  • [ 08:10 ] Fear of Failure
  • [ 10:05 ] Survival to Success
  • [ 15:30 ] The Ultimate Goal
  • [ 17:00 ] Stepping Stones
  • [ 18:45 ] Ten Things
  • [ 20:44 ] Mission and Vision

Takeaways:

  • The top two things that you can invest your finances and to see the biggest growth. The number one investment you can make is in yourself. Number one. Number two is in your own business first. Most people think they're going to make money and go invest in a stock or going to go invest in someone else's business or to invest in something. The number one thing that you can invest in as yourself first your education because no one can take it away from you and the second thing is going out and reinvesting into your own business to see that growth that you want to have.
  • There's plenty of people out there that are broken up, terrible relationships. There's plenty of people out there that have great relationships that never figure out how to build wealth or how to take care of themselves. There's plenty of people that have two out of three, but having three out of three is just a phenomenal thing that we call three-dimensional businessman in a proprietary way to make that happen. And so knowing that focusing on your business gives you more ability to go out there and execute on your health, that gives you more ability to go out there and invest in your relationships. It gives you more freedom and there are different things in each one of these things. Impact.
  • There are the four stages of life, survival, stability, success, and significance. And I always tell the guys what? What category are you in right now? Are you in survival mode where you're just like hammering away like you need to make something happen. Don't have a goal to go from survival mode to significance right away. So many guys out there like, oh my goodness, I would just love to help people. I would love to give money away. I would love to buy people's stuff and that's something that you definitely want to have inside of your mind, but it's not the first step to focus on. You can't just decide to go from homeless to philanthropists. It does not happen that way. You have not done the steps. You have not done the things to earn the title of philanthropist. You can't just go from never playing basketball to becoming a professional basketball player. That's not what you do. That's not the place that you go. You can't go from being a nobody to an influencer. It just does not happen that way. So figure out what are you. When are you in survival mode and you need to get to stability.

Welcome back to the Power Couple Episodes! This week Nicholas and Amanda talk all about the components of teamwork, from real and honest communication, problem-solving together, to what a woman is like when she is hurt. Amanda offers great insight into tone and body language when communicating to one another in emotionally charged situations and Nicholas talks about the most productive dates you can go on together while still having some of the best times of your life with your partner.

Timestamped Show Notes:

  • [ 02:12 ] Productive Weekend
  • [ 04:16 ] Understanding
  • [ 07:00 ] Problem Solving Together
  • [ 08:18 ] Dealing in Reality
  • [ 09:16 ] A Woman Who is Hurt
  • [ 10:30 ] Tone
  • [ 11:45 ] Teamwork
  • [ 13:34 ] Dates

Takeaways:

  • for a lot of the guys out there, there's usually this separation of what needs to happen in business and what's going on in the relationship. A lot of it comes down to understanding. We always talk about the communication and the purpose of communication isn't for someone to be right or wrong, but to better understand each other, and the more you can understand each other, the more you can fall in love with each other. So when it comes to business, I've noticed that some of the guys out there building their business. Their wife absolutely hates it and they don't understand what their spouse is doing whatsoever. All of it comes down to understanding why are you doing what you're doing. As a partner, we should want to better understand that so we can provide better support.
  • Many people create a world in their own head and don't actually have facts or real data behind their thoughts. So they continue to be stuck in their beliefs all the time and then if they ever do blow up on the person and the person goes, oh my bad, I didn't even mean that. So it just means that for the last one week, two weeks, two months, two years, 20 years, that person was thinking of something that wasn't real. It wasn't real. They created the reality in their head. The biggest thing you can do is nip it in the bud as fast as possible. Do the correct things to get over it as quickly as possible and communicate to have an understanding. So at least the things that are being thought about are in fact reality.

Today Nicholas sits down with Dan Lok, a high ticket sales expert. They discuss Dan’s unique background and how he’s demolished limiting beliefs to build his success. Dan shares how to close high ticket sales and the difference between closure and salesmen, the types of demand and the formula to close a buyer. Dan breaks down the three level of high ticket closing, the mindset of congratulations, mentorship that changed Dan’s life, and what it truly takes to be a 3-dimensional businessman.

Timestamped Show Notes:

  • [ 05:10 ] Writing Copy
  • [ 10:28 ] Types of Demand
  • [ 11:55 ] Sales vs. Closing
  • [ 15:30 ] Financial Commitment
  • [ 17:50 ] Three Levels of High Ticket Closing
  • [ 25:31 ] Lead Flow
  • [ 30:40 ] Shift Perspectives
  • [ 35:30 ] Mentorship
  • [ 40:05 ] 3 Dimensional Businessman

Takeaways:

  • When faced with blatant opposition you can reflect on the way you communicate your values. You could choose to blame but at the end of the day, nobody cares who you are blaming what on and why, the blame does not yield results nor does it accomplish anything. What does accomplish more than anything is working on yourself, refining your communication, it doesn’t matter how good you are or how good your product is, how good your service is or how nice you are...if you do not know how to close a sale you will never be successful in high ticket sales.
  • Existing Demand: Existing demand is when you have a client looking for a specific product to fulfill a want need or desire. Clients with an existing demand go, look, and buy. The second type of demand is created demand. When it comes to created demand your marketing needs to be different, you need to education, inspirer, and create desire. Once you’ve created the desire you can present the solution. “Hey this may be something you never thought of before but this could actually solve the problem you have.” This formula makes sense to the buyer. There is a big difference between sales and closing, a lot of people sell very few people close. You don’t make money selling you make money closing.

Welcome back to another episode of the Power Couple Podcast! This week Nicholas and Amanda discuss the difference between men and women, covering everything from communication, to the ways the two genders process information and situations, to some great resources to help you and your partner grow closer.

Timestamped:

  • [ 01:30 ] Nonnegotiable
  • [ 05:00 ] Do It Anyway
  • [ 09:53 ] Learning Curve
  • [ 10:37 ] Communication
  • [ 13:47 ] Men and Women
  • [ 19:27 ] The Little Things

Takeaways:

  • It’s interesting how when you are doing something that you want do really well at, it can increase pressure in your life. As we know pressure can expose weakness, it doesn’t create it. It’s like a pipe, the pressure will make a pipe burst at its weakest point. You’ve probably been there in your relationship, where you’ve been excited about something and then you get turned off to it. One of the biggest things is that when you think that you don’t want to do something your physiology and mental state changes. But if you know what you’re committed to you have the ability to push through. It’s interesting that the biggest pressures can sometimes lead to you're biggest breakthroughs.
  • The more we learn the more accountable we become to our knowledge. SO once you learn something it’s hard to go back on it because you know you should be taking action on it. Continue to learn with a childlike open-mindedness, some of the biggest things that will shift your perspective will be things that give you a deeper understanding. Like your personality style tests or once you understand that men love through solving problems, and women solve problems by talking them out. Men when going through a hard time tend to go into seclusion and so understanding and having patience through communication is the best foundation to rely on and practice frequently.
  • Take 100% responsibility 100% of the time. Always look for how you change and show up better. Look at it as you growing rather than fixing them. For the men out there, if your woman is complaining about something, tell her to go handle it, tell her to go do whatever she needs to do to feel better about it. Give your woman the permission to take care of herself.

This week Nicholas brings on social media mogul Casey Adams. They talk about everything from new generational trends in social media businesses communicating with brands and influencers through direct messages. Casey shares with us actionable tactics in building a personal brand and offers the three key steps to take to launch your social media business card to the next level.

Timestamped Show Notes:

  • [ 03:57 ] Starting from the Beginning
  • [ 08:05 ] Investment
  • [ 12:10 ] Road Less Traveled
  • [ 16:17 ] Focus on the Now
  • [ 20:25 ] Personal Brand
  • [ 21:53 ] 3 Steps to Build
  • [ 26:02 ] Perception and Popularity
  • [ 34:16 ] Brand Deals
  • [ 37:04 ] Social Communication
  • [ 44:11 ] Building Empires

Takeaways:

  • Personal branding is the most authentic perception that you are building for yourself around your life. As you are building, growing and improving within yourself, so is your perception with your audience and the story you are telling. The true value of a personal brand is that it isn’t about you it’s about the impact you can have on millions of people. Your personal brand is your social media business card.
  • The three foundational steps to take: understanding that you have to put out content on a consistent basis from the start that is congruent with the story you want to tell, many people lack in this area. You also have to use it for your audience, pay attention to the message that you are putting out to other people, have a good why: what is your impact, what are you trying to get across, what story are you telling. Your brand isn’t for you, it’s for your audience. You have to have the correct mindset, know that this is the long game...commit to your brand for the long term, for years to come.
  • When communicating with brands and brokering deals via social media, it’s first and foremost important to understand the value that you bring to the table, whether it’s that you have a large audience, you're connected with people you want to work with long term…No matter what it’s important to always be authentic.

Welcome back to the Billion Dollar Body Podcast! This is episode #10 of the Power Couple Series! Nicholas and Amanda hit it hard this week talking about the power couple dynamic, how to craft a daily declaration, and how to love what you have in your partner.

Timestamped Show Notes:

  • [ 01:59 ] This Weeks Wins
  • [ 03:16 ] Power Couple Dynamic
  • [ 06:32 ] 30 Day Challenge
  • [ 07:53 ] Think and Grow Rich Statement
  • [ 10:37 ] Not Always Greener
  • [ 13:40 ] Water the Grass You Have
  • [ 17:00 ] Focus on the Positive

Takeaways:

  • Everyone can be a power couple. Many people think you have to work together in a business, or when the wife is super dominant. However, all it takes is having a like-minded vision to a similar place or direction you two are headed, using your talents, skills, and abilities to support each other in getting to that place. So together to people going after one vision using their strengths. You often need to make your relationship your higher priority.
  • A Think and Grow Rich Statement is created with the purpose to dial in, a declaration that you say out loud every morning and then a touchstone that you can go back to recenter you throughout the day. This is typically made for the amount of money you want to make in a specific amount of time, but the main purpose is to help you emotionalize and visual your connection to your goals, which is why you can use it for many other benchmarks besides your money goals.
  • Focus on the Positive things that you already have, especially before you get to anything you want to work on because you will only see those thing a negative lense. The world will continue to confirm your belief until you change your belief system or mindset. Find what you love about your partner and let them know. What you focus on increases. You will feel more love when you focus on how amazing your partner is and what you love about them.

Today, Nicholas interviews Dan Fleyshman. Dan gets real with us about his no BS success mentality. He shares with us how he had to tap into his confidence out of a survival necessity, and how that paired with the humility of working amongst the homeless have helped him maintain his determination to be successful.

  • [ 27:10 ] Actions Speak
  • [ 34:47 ] High-Level Community
  • [ 38:17 ] Adding Value
  • [ 41:30 ] The One Thing

Takeaways:

  • If you make 30 dollars an hour at your job and you can spend $10-$15 hours to have someone else do a time-sucking task for you in order to free up time to make more money and invest your time better. Maximize your time during the weekdays and save your hobbies for the weekend. Many people are so overwhelmed with being fake busy because they a putting time into meaningless tasks, social media scrolling, or other nonsense. If you have a full-time job save your weekends for your side hustle, Saturday and Sunday are a great time to invest in your side hustle.
  • We all know one person who rather than taking action just talks, every year that person will tell about the great thing they should've could’ve done. When you are an action taker you have the idea, you create a name, you buy the domain, create social media handles across all social media, build your website, order product, capture pictures for social media posts, and create an online store to sell that product. Taking action is what holds people back. You can do everything for a couple $100 bucks and get a jump start on your ideas and turn concepts into businesses in a night.
  • Have an obsession for the process, the beginning, the during, and the after. Get excited about the game of building, testing, failing, and doing well. Have Fun. Curate who you will get involved with in business in order to be successful. Once you start to know the games, the tricks, and the background in building and scaling businesses you will find that you can remove the risk for failures.

This week Nicholas and Amanda talk about communication and how we process differently as men and women. Amanda shares how women have different desires and tendencies as compared to men and Nicholas drops some great resources on how to better understand you're partners values as you grow and communicate through more diverse situations. • [ 13:05 ] Asking for Help
  • [ 16:41 ] Resources
  • [ 18:30 ] Money Matters
  • [ 20:03 ] Understanding

Takeaways:

  • In some aspects of our life we need to pull on different people, like our mothers, brothers, sisters, fathers and close friends. Me and women process their stress very differently. Women have a desire to get around their most trusted female friends and talk things over, vent, problem solve. Whereas men tend to withdraw, become depressed, and feel the need to be strong by withholding their stress. Many relationships fail because people try to make their partner their outlet for all things, rather than looking to close guy or girl friends who will relate and understand each other better.
  • Most men think that everyone, including their wives don’t want them to ask for help. Women like to control things but they also want to have a man in their life that they know can look outside for help to better themselves in order to strengthen their relationship. When you look for help and are honest with your spouse you're will find that you’ve lifted a weight off your shoulders and have taken responsibility for yourself.

  • [ 35:01 ] Being Honest and Upfront

Takeaways:

  • Broccoli and cruciferous greens supplemented with DIM can assist in maintaining your estrogen levels, adding in ashwagandha and other homeopathic adaptogens. You can’t be predisposed to a quick fix, it takes time and patience to heal, repair, restore, and maintain your body. Another thing to add in is grass fed proteins and fats, along with getting a good night's sleep.
  • Birds of a feather flock together. When you find people with like-minded goals, businesses, and relationship values, you will find your success catapult in your health and business and relationships.
  • The five people you surround yourself with is a big deal if you make it a big deal. If you look back and see who you were surrounded with at your lowest point you will find that those people, their lifestyles, mindsets, and influence was keeping you at that point. Find a group that can grow you, ask questions and apply the answers.

We are back with Power Couple Episode #8! Nicholas and Amanda are sharing with us why they took weeks off of the podcast and what they did during that time that helped them grow and learn more as entrepreneurs, individuals and build stronger relationships with those around them. They cover everything from listeners questions on marriage and envy, to reversing the trust on money issues, to learn how to relax and enjoy in your own time and in your own way!

Timestamped Show Notes

  • [ 01:45 ] What is the Billion Dollar Brotherhood
  • [ 07:12 ] Entrepreneurs on Vacation
  • [ 12:13 ] Reversing Trust
  • [ 16:32 ] Power in Knowing Where You Are Going
  • [ 19:25 ] Envy

Takeaways:

  • You have to schedule in rest. It takes about three days of being unplugged before you see the benefits, resting in your own way. The biggest thing you will see is that vacations are worth it and the ROI. You will have a good time connecting with like-minded people and building you're relationships. It’s good to have fun away from work.
  • Envy and jealousy are crippling negative subjects. But it comes down to your perception, logically realized that you can make it into a positive thing. Look at envy and jealousy as a lack mentality, it doesn't bear fruit and it doesn’t honor you or anyone else. Honor and respect other people and their breakthrough and success, flip it into teaching and applications into your life. When you so focus on other people take action to do what they did to get to where they are. Ask how did they get that and how do I get that? Then come up with a plan of action to prosper in those areas for yourself. Take 100% responsibility.

Today Nicholas interviews Jason Stone, who is best known as the millionaire mentor. Jason is a social media guru having grown several accounts to over 1 million followers and offering his skills and insight to clients through his millionaire mentor site and leadership in social media influence.

  • [ 11:05 ] Money on the Mind
  • [ 17:43 ] Responsibility of Impact
  • [ 20:04 ] Branding
  • [ 28:53 ] Content Distribution

Takeaways:

  • When you begin by adding value through your social media you can build trust with your audience, don’t hold back on what you have to offer. If you are a carpet cleaning company you should teach your audience how to clean their own carpets without selling them your services. You might think you are giving away your trade secrets but people buy for convenience. So although you taught them how to do it themselves, they will buy your services because you took the time to teach them a built their trust.
  • When you lack confidence in a relationship you will have to work to adapt to your partner's fame or success. It’s important to be adaptable in a relationship and offer support to one another.
  • Content used to the king but distribution is now king. You can have great content but if no one sees it you won’t grow. The best way to distribute is to get shoutouts on other accounts as well as mentions and shares. Having people screenshot and share your account in their stories with reasons why they should follow you. Focus also on your bio and first six posts representing what you do.

This week Nicholas and Amanda share with us the opportunities that have come their way this week, how to support your partner and believe in them. They also cover the risks and break through that follow when you invest in the best and in a group of people who think bigger than you.

  • [ 08:30 ] Supporting Your Spouse
  • [ 12:03 ] Jumping at the Opportunity
  • [ 16:00 ] Push Your Spouse into Their Destiny
  • [ 18:15 ] Risk and Breakthrough

Takeaways:

  • Being in your comfort zone is the worst place you can be. Consistently push yourself outside of your comfort zone. When you are in “flow” you will show up to a place that could change your life. Many people feel comfortable at home but nothing happens there, when they are out and around other people opportunities find them.
  • When you get support from your partner, you get breakthrough. Support allows you to show up and give, back, honoring the mission and vision of others and getting in on opportunities for yourself. Because you built up the experience and relationship. Earn trust for executing and making decisions on good investments.
  • Believe in your partner and push them to be the person who exceeds their potential. Your partner doesn’t need you to be another naysayer in their life, chose to do the opposite and see what happens. You can’t control your partner but you can support and believe in them.

Caleb Maddix is a 16 year old self made millionaire utilizing repetitive tactics, from social to communication, helping men taking their businesses to the next level without sacrificing their personal lives, relationships, and health. Caleb's mission is to offer freedom, he wants to be offer people jobs.

  • [ 09:09 ] Results
  • [ 11:08 ] Community
  • [ 13:05 ] Focus
  • [ 17:24 ] Sales System

Takeaways:

  • “I’m not going to pay you for the things that you’re not going to get paid for later on in life, I’m going to pay you for the things that you will be paid for. I’m not going to pay you to take out the trash because you’ll end up being trash man. Being a trashman is fine but you’ve got bigger aspirations than that. Instead I’m going to pay you for the books you read.” Caleb’s dad made the decisions that he wasn’t going to give Caleb an allowance for his chores, instead he was going to pay him for continuing in to learn through reading success books and implementing the things he learned.
  • The number 1 problem with people is that they are two soft. If you want to have success you have to get out of your comfort zone. Do simple things to get you out of your comfort zone, like take cold showers. “Discipline is choosing between what you want and what you want more.”
  • No one can stop someone who gets results. If you have results it doesn't matter what people say it doesn’t matter who disagrees with you. If you get  results long enough even the people who didn’t to work with you in the beginning will have to. Small minded people will never be impressed by big achievements.

Takeaways:

  • Even when you don’t want to do something you still have to show up. Dig deep and harness the power of who you know you can be to empower yourself to get through stress and mental blocks. Put on your game face. Put on your true self outside of the moment. Don’t allow the circumstances of right now to determine what you do. You create habits that create you. Give up the good for the great, sacrifice the stuff that doesn’t matter.
  • When you hone in on you're power of focus and train everyday through the mental blocks, strain, and doing hard things, you can get through anything in any situation. If it feels super hard, that’s what you should be doing, always challenge yourself to continue growing and upleveling.

Takeaways:

  • “Love this Brotherhood so much! Thank you for an incredible 5 days of non-stop learning, growing and building our futures together. I came in with no agenda and a blank slate, leaving full of brotherly love, several new business deals in the works, and feeling stronger than ever in myself, my ability for future success and I attribute it all to building stronger relationships with all my BDB Bro’s. Can’t wait for BDB Elite 2.0 to start and get back to San Diego.”-Dominic Wood
  • “Day 1 after BDB Live 2.0 and I refuse to let myself fall back into mediocrity. Are you with me? I received a ton of value from Alex Charfen and tonight I'm focusing on his concept of momentum, both creating and maintaining it. Step 1: lower the pressure and noise in your life - identify the habits you have adopted and the situations you continue to put yourself into that stall you out and constrain you. For instance, I JUST uninstalled a mobile gaming app that I allowed into my life that was providing me very short term gains in exchange for the loss of long term success. It was fairly distressing to uninstall the stupid game, strangely enough, but I'll take that resistance as a good sign. (Learning to lean into resistance is also another new focus of mine.) My next step: identifying more pressure and noise and systematically eliminating as much as possible. Can you think of anything you do or are hooked on that feels like an escape or a waste of time? Did anything immediately come to mind when you heard him describe pressure and noise in his presentation? If momentum isn't on your mind, what else did you learn this weekend that you've already taken action on?” - Matteo Echabarne
  • “My first BDB live event, I'm blown away at the culture and environment. Grateful to you all, the men young and older, for embracing me, and being excellent in your ways.I longed for a group like this. So many of you have become dear to my heart already and we just met... only God can do that. I know I have brothers I can count on. Congratulations to you Nicholas and Amanda and your team, the event was outstanding, the lineup of speakers were great and beyond, (only one was a bit off color for me) I look forward to many more and contributing to the growth of the amazing community.” - Jose DiCervo

  • [ 14:21 ] Champions
  • [ 17: 16 ] Coaching with Honor
  • [ 20:17 ] Passion for Outreach
  • [ 30:01 ] Creating an Impact

Takeaways:

  • It’s so important to have a male mentor as a man, because often time as men we need an example to follow, someone who can speak into our lives knowing and understanding where we are coming from as men. When children are growing up without a father they often find that there isn't someone there to nourish their “why”, why and how to be a man, why they need to have a healthy balance between work and personal life, why they need to invest in their relationships and marriage.
  • The #1 thing about being a champion is taking care of your body. Lebron James spent 1 million dollars on his body because he realized that it’s his vehicle, his biggest priority. When you get the opportunity to be around guys who are focused on caring for their bodies, taking full responsibility, it’ll also become your way in life, and that of your household.
  • When you get ready to go for a game you get an itinerary, you know the times for everything from bus and plane transport, to practice and game times. When you are under a coach you have to respect your coach, you won’t go over your coaches head. There is however, a difference between coaches and teachers, someone who is a teacher takes the time to show someone how to execute for excellence.

Takeaways:

  • In the land of social media, we can all look at other people’s lives and think they are better than ours, focusing what we don’t have. As a high achiever it’s great to look at things and be motivated, but if it ever comes to a point that you are more focused on you're “lack” or being ungrateful for what you have already you need to let go. Don’t let your unrealistic expectations of yourself cloud your vision and gratefulness. Other people don’t have it better than you, everyone goes through challenges in life.

On this week's Power Couple Episode Nicholas and Amanda cover the power of belief and intuition. Highlighting how you can tap into your intuition to save you time and trouble in your life. Takeaways:

  • In many situations we have our intuition or inner voice urging us to do one thing or make a certain decision, often when we go against this we find ourselves in inopportune situations. We should also take note of what our beliefs are and how they are affecting us. Nicholas shared a story about a man believing he was dying when he actually wasn’t, however, his belief was so strong that he ended up dying.
  • “Wine doesn’t make you happy, it just makes you happier.” “Whether you think you can or that you can’t you’re right.” Many people give excuses and don’t know they are foreshadowing their own futures, in that they believe they can’t or won’t be able to do something and because of that excuse they will end up following that excuse to become a limiting belief in their lives.

Takeaways:

  • After dealing with chronic stress many people will find that their body will take the tool on every body system, it’s a problem in the world at large. We need to address and deal with high threat environments and traumatic stress, offering high-end treatment and discarding misdiagnosis to deal with the real and underlying issues founded in many mental health ailments. We as people need to know what the right resources are to go to get help and get back into serving in your strengths and purpose.
  • When you are feeling overwhelmed, need to recenter, or are looking to renew your focus you can reset your “dial” through breathing exercises and slowing down your physiological response, mediating, refueling your body with nourishing food.
  • Mindset of a Navy Seal: The first step is to solidify your purpose and being willing to test it and yourself. Every time you test your true purpose you will further solidify and ground yourself in your purpose. Then you have to follow through with action, develop good habits, invest in mentors, and pushing yourself, proving that you always have more in you. Be willing to network with the right people, effectively communicate, and come up with positive solutions.

Nicholas and Amanda kick off the Power Couple Episode 3 with a whole new format! Talk all about this week's lessons and how they have overcome the rough patches. They share with us their #1 resource for the week and give you the opportunity to join them in maximizing your monthly goals! And they cover questions that came straight from you through facebook!

  • [ 05:00 ] Abundance
  • [ 07:13 ] Weekly Resource
  • [ 10:00 ] 30 Day Challenge
  • [ 11:23 ] Weekly Quotes
  • [ 13:34 ] What We Love
  • [ 17:25 ] Working Together

Takeaways:

  • Tips to Overcome: Amanda has found that in journaling, being present, and writing everything thought down that she can overcome feeling overwhelmed or anxious. Nicholas found that in living out of an abundance mindset and using his resources he can cut out the noise and focus on the bigger picture rather than the possible mistakes to be made in the minute details, and helped him put his focus back on his mission and vision.
  • Journaling is a great way to write out what you are feeling in the moment and gives you the chance to reflect back on it later and identify where those emotions are coming from and how they are adding to or taking away from your daily life. Setting your focus on being present, rather than so zeroed in on the future, helps you solve problems in the now so that the future is better, it’ll will bring you a lot more peace and give you a grounding point. When you are going throughout your day you can often be bombarded by lots of thoughts, tasks, or ideas that you may lose track of in the hustle of your daily life. When you write your thoughts, ideas, and tasks out it anchors your to do list, provides you with extra fuel for later brainstorming sessions, and helps you articulate your ideas better.
  • The 30 Day Challenge: Craft a challenge that is unique to you, like a 30 day journal challenge, or 30 day no alcohol challenge. When you are looking to take action in any areas of your life, many people often look from the perspective of “will this increase or decrease my status?” Many people don’t follow through with a 30 day challenge because they think it will decrease their status, based on what the majority of their peers are doing, what their environment “puts” on them, or what does or does not make them feel good. The thing about 30 day challenges is that you have nothing to lose if you follow through with it. If you do something for 30 days and don’t end up liking your results you know that it’s something you don’t want to implement permanently in your life. If you do like your results at the end of 30 days you have already put the time in to create a habit and can continue on with greater results over a longer period of time.
  • Weekly Quotes: “God doesn’t Waste Any Season.”: No matter how long your season is, time is so valuable that even God isn’t looking to was any, good or bad, long or short, it’s always an opportunity to grow. Your season isn’t happening to you, it’s happening for you! For you to learn and grow and be a part of your story. // “At 18 years old you care about what everyone is thinking about them. At 40 years old you stop caring about everyone thinks about them. At 60 years old they realize that no one was even focused on them.” Not caring what people think about how you live your life gives you so much opportunity for freedom because no one is as focused on the perception of who you as you are.

This week Nicholas brings on Jairek Robbins, high-performance coach, and they talked about his transformation from a boy into a man, through the opportunities he seized and the hard work he put in. Jairek shares the many lessons he’s learned in traveling the world, having a near death experience and how self-introspection can revitalize your business and relationship with your clients.

Timestamped Show Notes:

  • [ 01:07 ] Understanding the Process of Transformation
  • [ 05:00 ] When Opportunity Strikes
  • [ 10:58 ] Gaining Perspective
  • [ 17:45 ] Growing Your Business
  • [ 20:00 ] Abroad in the World
  • [ 30:41 ] Living Each Day Fully

Takeaways:

  • There is a missing element in society to challenge a young person to allow them to transform from a child into an adult. Take time to realize when there is an opportunity in front of you when that opportunity can bring you a large amount of return by delivering solid value to your clients. You never know when opportunities will be up, fall in love with hard work and the process of it. Be willing to redevelop yourself through proof and challenges. When you have explored your opportunities you will arrive at a point of looking at life and wondering what if worth investing my time in.
  • When you look at generational conditioning you will find that you don’t have to create a time in history to toughen a generation up, time will do that on its own, the real question is how do you prepare the next generation. When there is a misuse of power is often taken away but that is not always a good thing because that may be removing the component that helps the next generation toughen up. How do we reignite a natural toughness in humanity? Optimize and maximize your own situation. Be hungry.
  • In growing your business: how many people know you exist, how many of those people have you gather contact information from, how many of those people have you turned into customers, what price point did they buy at, how often did they buy. If you take those five numbers and take time to work and rework those numbers to get them to go up you will see your business grow.
  • How to live a high-performance life: Make sleep, nutrition and exercise your priority, discover how to enjoy what you are doing, have the ability to stay laser-focused on the task at hand while being aware of the chaos around you.

Today Nicholas and Amanda Bayerle jump into episode #2 of the Power Couple episodes talking about romance! They discuss this week's struggles, having a like-minded vision, and how to be in love and stay in love.

Time Stamped Show Notes:

  • [ 03:33 ] Create and Agree on a Clear Vision
  • [ 11:54 ] Like Minded Environment
  • [ 13:51 ] Keeping Romance Alive
  • [ 22:35 ] Priorities

Takeaways:

  • Get clear on your vision with your partner early on in your relationship. Here where your partner wants to go and know what you want for yourself before you dive into a relationship. Both people may not be fully committed to each other’s vision until there is a big measure of commitment, like engagement or marriage. Make communication your priority so that you both know what each other wants. Write out the list of what you want and refer to that when you are looking for the person who will align with your vision.
  • In keeping the romance alive one of the best things to do is to picture your spouse intimately every day, visualization is a huge component in your relationship to keep the passion alive. Also, make sure you know and are fulfilling your spouse's love languages. You can make any moment non-romantic but you can also turn it around to the opposite. ROmance isn’t one-sided, be the person who is ready and available to your partner, govern yourself and then pour into your partner, don’t try to fix your partner.

Today Nicholas talks with Alex Charfen about businessmen and living a life that’s worth modeling. Alex covers everything from finding your tribe and why as an entrepreneur, influencer, and thought leader, you are set apart, who you are and what makes you tick, the two types of momentum, how to maintain momentum, and how the process will set you free.

  • [ 30:11 ] Success and Learning
  • [ 36:21 ] Value over Pressure and Noise
  • [ 40:00 ] Lightning Round
  • [ 45:37 ] Process will Set You Free

Takeaways:

  • If you have ever felt different or alone, or like you just can’t overcome the present, the fact is that if you think right now, back in history, everyone who has mattered and is remembered, everyone who you remember and look up to was just like you. Rather than feeling and believing that you are alone, understand that you are part of the most important club in history.
  • There are four types of people in the world, the first is the caretakers, the second is the communicator, the third second is the coordinator, the fourth is the hunter.
  • Momentum is the life force for a hunter type of person, there are two ways to create momentum, either add things or take things away. Take inventory of the people, the things in your life and be ruthless, cut everything that isn’t giving you momentum. Momentum isn’t aa condition you want to be in, it’s what makes you who you are, and that needs to be defended at all costs. Show up like you are a professional athlete. There is no way that pressure and noise with help you reach your ultimate success or even contribute to you learning.
